Tuesday

Welcome back, beloved.

Here is your space for today — a prayer to begin, questions to sit with, and a page to pour onto.

Today's Prayer · Tuesday, October 6

Courage to Be Tender

Intention: Tender courage

“Be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.”

— 1 Peter 3:8

A prayer for today

Jesus, you were strong and tender at once. Make me brave enough to be kind. Where I want to armor up, help me stay open. Let my gentleness be a strength, not a retreat. Amen.

Reflection Prompts

Sit with one. Let it find you.

  1. 1

Whose face comes to mind when you pray for others?

Hold that person in your thoughts for a full breath. Let love do the praying when words run out.

  2. 2

What would gentleness look like for you today?

Toward yourself first. Then toward the one who frustrates you. Gentleness is not weakness — it is strength at rest.

  3. 3

What is one thing you can release control of today?

Name it. Then imagine opening your hand. Trust that the world keeps turning without your grip on it.
